Inclusions

• Real, unmodified racing cars, as raced in the Formula Ford Championships
• 24 blistering laps of Wakefield Park's full circuit or one of Australia's premier race tracks
• NO rev-limiters -- drive the car to your limits
• Full-day event including driver instruction by real race car drivers
• Event fully catered & includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea
• All Race and Safety Equipment provided: helmets, race suits and boots
• Top Gun & Winning Team Awards and a celebration at the end of the Race Day

Fitness and Experience

• No special licence or previous racing experience required
• Max height is 196 cm, max weight 120 kg
• You cannot take part if you think you may be pregnant or you suffer from certain medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure or back issues
• You need to have at least a "P" standard manual driving licence to take part
• You will need to be able to operate a manual gearbox

What to Bring and Wear

• Bring your driving licence (sorry, no licence, no driving)
• If you have your own race suit, helmet and gloves, bring them
• Bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses

What is the schedule on the day

Your experience starts at 8:00am with your racing suit fitting and a safety briefing about high-speed driving. Next you split into small groups to drive two laps of the track where you learn all about the circuit's braking and corner apex points.

Then you are strapped into your very own race car! Driving solo, you can now put all the theory into practice on the track. You are in control, so you can progress at your own pace and comfort level.

Points are awarded for consistency and accuracy in car control. The driver with the most consistent times receives the "Top Gun" award for the day!

All bookings made on Experience Oz are dependant on availability, so please ensure once you make the booking that you contact the number on the voucher to confirm your nominated day.

Terms and Conditions

Once you have purchased an Individual Drive Day, you may transfer your booking to another driver or elect another Drive Day within 1 year from the purchase date. Booking date changes made with less than 30 days notice of event may not be accepted due to our commitment to the track for its hire. Anglo will endeavour to reschedule your day, but can not guarantee this. Participants undertake the Drive Day at their own risk and must sign an indemnity form at the track before driving. Participants under the age of 18 years will require a parent/guardian to sign such forms on their behalf. Drivers must be over 16 years of age, hold a current "P" driver's license and be able to operate a manual transmission. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any Drive Day, in which case your booking can be transferred to another suitable Drive Day.
